Cornbread

Cornbread is a farm staple! Cornbread is so versatile it can be made and enjoyed for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Cornbread in the past garnished almost all farm kitchen tables. It soon became popular in the urban areas as well. In the past cornbread was as popular for a quick meal at dinner as is mac and cheese in today's world. Try hot cornbread with honey, jam, syrup and of course my favorite molasses!
